On this page, I would like to give you some technical details regarding the machines, their components and manufacture. Material: The raw material, like steel and brass, comes from German high-quality producers. This applies as well for the screws of each machine, as our aim is the highest quality.   Frames: 3 and 4 –part-frames, which means, front panel, back gauge and end plate are hard-soldered with a special solder, not welded. I only use frames produced and designed by myself. Of course, many of my machines are based on traditional forms as e.g. Paul Rogers, Walker etc. This type of frame has proved itself for decades, regarding function, ergonomy and weight. I do not copy machines, and I do not use frames of other producers. I would also like to ask other machine builders who visit my website to respect this and not to steal my intellectual property! DO NOT COPY MY MACHINES! I strictly decline to use frames made of casting or CNC. You will also never find cheap frames from the Far East on B.C.I. machines. Every B.C.I. machine has a handmade frame of massive steel made in Germany!    Coils: I wind ALL coils by myself. For this, I use a special coil core and German copper wire. Most of the machines have 8wrap coils. However, according to the designated use, I also use 6wrap, 7wrap, 9wrap or a 10/8wrap combination. Generally, I can wind all kinds of coils. There are nearly no limits regarding the designs of the coils: Money wrap, shrink hose, fiber ribbon, camouflage, shellac... or at buyer’s option.   Binding Posts: Of course I do not buy them from other producers and build them in, but produce them myself. Since 2010, every machine is delivered with silver or copper contact screws. Older machines can of course be refitted: See "Technical Updates".   Springs: Quality Blue Springs, which I let produce according to my ideas. I always have all kinds of thickness and length on stock.   Armature Bars: Depending on the designated use of the machine, A-Bars of several lenghts and weights are disposible. In connection with the right spring combination / spring rubber and the corresponding matched coils, nearly every machine setting can be realised. From the 45 Magnum 75Hz pen until the 150Hz Highspeed Liner, everything is possible. If you have special requests, please contact me before you order.
